Greetings from New Mexico!
After a long, 'desperately beautiful', somewhat squishy, but mostly enjoyable trip, we have arrived safely and happily to the fantastic Navajo country.
The Friday before heading to New Mexico, we were able to stop and spend some time with Jill and Jay Nau and their family in Denver. We swam, ate, laughed, and poked fun at each other.
Outside, the boys are working hard digging fence post holes for the local missionaries Bill and Amy Ashe and the girls are busy pulling weeds, setting up crafts, and updating blogs.
Our first day involved assisting another missionary family unload and move into their new home. Part of the group stayed at the home church to 'help' set up a gigantic tent for the upcoming Kirtland church revivals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There we were able to witness some Navajo culture and language.
Thanks to Carla Oberg, our group remains relaxed, massaged, and well fed.
Off to dig some holes! Please continue to pray for group unity, good health, sleep, and positive attitudes.

Would like to see more pictures and hear more about the work being done. At least you're enjoying better weather - still cool, cloudy and somewhat rainy here in Billings.
Jane Kelly.
